Traits
Shattered (T) (Special)
When a Kyrlicht encounters a near death scenario, they can be brought back from the brink by either other Kyrs pooling their magic until the Kyrlicht can start to heal themselves, or by a patron offering them a Deal with the Devil; a contract that saves the Kyrlicht but ultimately has them owe the patron a favor. Which is not a good thing.
They take on the appearance of multiple shards and can either simply float close to each other, or be connected via strands of Magic (appearance can vary, e.g. glowing strings, crackling lightning, etc).
Magic Filled (Common)
Instead of being filled with Matter, this Kyrlicht's tail is filled with a beautiful cloud of magic.
Fire Filled (Common)
This Kyrlicht's tail is lit with flames from within! Note: tail still must keep defined shape.
0 - 3 Floaters (Common)
A Kyrlicht can have between 0 - 3 floating spheres. Unless otherwise specified, these are all whole and undamaged.
Irregular Shape (Rare)
A Kyrlicht can have irregular shaped head spheres. These can be more complicated, such as a teapot, or simple, like a heart. Note that the entire object, even if complicated, is made from the sphere.
Damaged (Rare)
The head spheres can be any level of damaged, but should still be recognizable. Does not include the shattered variation!
Canonically, a Kyrlicht will have a cracked sphere after deep emotional hurt or after a serious magical injury/battle.

Breached (Rare)
A Kyrlicht's material can be spilling out/growing out or similarly extruding out of the spheres.
Sphere Adornments (Rare)
Some Kyrlicht are truly vain, or simply love a good sparkle. They've forged charms and trinkets to attach to their sphere, and showcase their personality better.
This trait allows for non-organic adornments, such as a metal bangle, charms, neon lights, etc. to be attached to the spheres - they can either float by them, or be attached more directly.
Animated Spheres (Special)
Allows your Kyrlicht to have moving Spheres; controlled by the Kyr or simply moving by themselves. Example: hand shaped spheres, or butterfly shaped, etc.
Metal / Cloth (Common)
The knot & tassles can be of any combination of metal and cloth (which includes rope).
- Must both be the same or only have minimal differences.
- Always two of them, can be on the same side or on both sides of the temple/head.
- Float next to the body, do not need to be attached to body.
Mismatched (Special)
Some Kyrlichts are truly devoted to each other and have found a way to show the world their loyalty! By exchanging their knots & tassels, they are directly linked to each other and will always be able to find one another. But watch out! This could have lasting implications...
With this trait your Kyrlicht can have mismatched knot & tassels! They can be totally different from each other, such as a gold & sapphire on one side, and a rose & thorns one on the other side.
Non-Sentient (Rare)
The knot and tassel can be anything non-sentient, such as organic things (flowers), crystals, plastics, etc. The sky's the limit!

Sentient (Special)
Species: Kyrlicht
Woah! What happened here? Seems like Magic enjoyed playing a trick - your tassel seems to be speaking to you?!
This trait allows your knot and/or tassel to be a sentient, living thing! This could be a talking snake, or a glass butterfly gently fluttering by your temples. This also allows usually non sentient things to come alive, such as plushies, etc.

Connected (Rare)
Instead of separate Knot & Tassel, this allows a Kyrlicht to have connected ones; this can be via ribbon, or whatever you can think of.
Mammal Ears (Common)
A Kyrlicht can have any sort of mammalian ears, such as fox, cat, elephant.
