Eden is a collector of an outstanding number of things, but only two of such collections are most impressive: fountain pens and photographs. The latter, can’t entirely be attributed to a collector's work and may instead better fit as a display for some photographer’s fervent dedication.
Fountain pens may be fairly considered Eden’s favorite things to exist. They enjoy the variety of styles, feel, ink distribution, and flow. While Eden has displays for most, they are a collector as they are an enjoyer of their pens, and will refuse to keep them caged for eternity. Pens, to them, are like birds, they are beautifully kept but are more beautiful in motion.
Ironically, Eden’s favorites are ones designed with quills, whether they might be metal, porcelain, or real plucked plumage. They’ve gone off on innocent inquirers, too many times to count, about their prized “pen pen”, a pen decorated with a pen’s feather, the feathered pen here referring to a female swan. This is kept well maintained, fawned over once every couple of days, and is their only piece to be reserved, never used except during its initial test run. Test parchments have been saved in an envelope which is stored in a drawer directly beneath it.
It is sacred.
