Despite their name, Eden finds it improper to have uncommitted space left at one's disposal. So, why should they be living in a garden whilst underutilizing a perfectly functioning room with four concrete walls and a sound roof? It seems too offensive.
And on the subject, while they are poised to act beside the general public, they are no servant to those folk, and nor do enjoy being a grand spectacle on display; it's of the word, isn't it? Privacy, secrets, keeping things to oneself--out of politeness--and, as it's a general rule of thumb. No one of sound mind wants to dabble in another's business.
With that said, they select their guests to ensure they are cultivated and share the understanding that things of their place are strictly their own, and rude determination should be reserved for after the matter. And the things they maintain? Essential and expected. Loaded bookshelves, vases of greenery and delicate white roses, a collection of quilled fountain pens, of others' feathers, you daren't assume their own. Ornate textiles blanket the bare floor, and swathes of cardinal red silks pour over a chair, pooling heavily at the wooden legs.
Charming and fit for show, sensitive messiness prompted to prove the truth that the space is lived in and loved. Their space serves its purpose well, and every square inch is utilized to its fullest potential.
