Dawnbringer changes personalities as often as he switches masks. Sometimes, he literally chooses a mask he feels will win somebody over or make him more intimidating, depending on what he wants to portray himself as.

DB usually shows himself as an overly confident man. Someone who doesn't need anyone and won't ever feel alone, who's quite powerful and wise. To some degree, he acts as an older Kyrlicht, like he's the one who holds the universe's secret in the palm of his hand.

To new people he meet, he might even come onto as charming and friendly, but he'd only get close to someone who could be beneficial to him somehow. Manipulative is his middle name as well. He's only thinking about himself, aiming for the goal to ascend no matter the cost - something he learned from another Kyrlicht DB met before, who tricked him into losing his face.

In truth, he's very insecure for many reasons. Losing his best feature after being betrayed, having impostor syndrome and Fear Of Missing Out, the nagging feeling of being incomplete, the need to wear a mask, etc. He's terrified of someone finding out about his weaknesses and use it against him, especially those Dawnbringer has wronged before. Besides, he tends to become jealous easier than most people, especially when dealing with a creature he considers prettier than him. DB used to be quite the vain person when he had his face, and seeing someone or something more handsome than him is almost like a personal attack against him.
